Bluetooth Low Energy and Smartphone App Enhance Insurer Customer Offerings

Tracker, today announced a new usage-based insurance (UBI) solution that overcomes the ‘price’ versus ‘service and data quality’ dilemma to offer greater value to insurance companies’ policyholders.

Tracker’s solution is a competitively priced, self-installed Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tag and smartphone application that delivers driver identification, driver behaviour data, and crash detection alerts in real-time.
