Tackling Vehicle Crime Through Collaboration

A Shared Response to a Shared Challenge
  • Vehicle crime is no longer a localised or opportunistic offence. Today's organised criminal groups operate across multiple regions and countries, using sophisticated technology, intelligence networks and export routes to steal, move and profit from stolen vehicles.
  • No single organisation can tackle this challenge alone. Effective prevention, recovery and enforcement rely on close collaboration between police forces, specialist law enforcement agencies, insurers, vehicle manufacturers, security providers and industry bodies.
  • Tracker is proud to play an active role within this wider ecosystem, working alongside organisations including the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC), NaVCIS, NVCRP, OPAL, Thatcham Research and Secured by Design to support intelligence sharing, improve vehicle security standards and strengthen the national response to vehicle crime.
  • By combining law enforcement expertise, vehicle security technology, insurance industry insight and manufacturer innovation, these partnerships help identify emerging threats, develop effective countermeasures and improve the recovery of stolen vehicles.
  • Together, we are helping to protect vehicle owners, disrupt organised criminal networks and reduce the impact of vehicle crime across the UK.
Together, We Are Stronger Against Vehicle Crime.

Tracker Calls For A United Front In Driving Change On The Possession Of GPS Signal Jammers

Stolen vehicle recovery (SVR) expert, Tracker Network UK Limited, is welcoming the government’s open call for evidence regarding the impact of radiofrequency jammers when used by criminals. It is urging all automotive stakeholders – drivers, car theft victims, manufacturers, dealers and insurance providers - to share their views before the 8th May 2026 deadline.
