CALAMP’S Tracker U.K. APPOINTS MARK ROSE AS MANAGING DIRECTOR
AS CONTINUED INVESTMENT IN THE U.K. SEES NEW INNOVATION SHAPE THE FUTURE
LONDON, U.K. – September 9, 2019 – CalAmp (Nasdaq: CAMP), technology solutions pioneer transforming the mobile connected economy, today announced that its stolen vehicle recovery (SVR) and innovative automotive services provider, Tracker, has appointed Mark Rose as managing director. This appointment coincides with Tracker’s 25th anniversary and confirms its intention to retain its market leading position by delivering new software and subscription telematics services supported by the technologies and solutions of its parent company, CalAmp.
Rose brings a wealth of experience from the automotive, telecom and IoT sectors, with recent experience at Vodafone Automotive as global business development lead. His knowledge of strategy, sales and leadership will help the Tracker team pivot to software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based, connected car subscription services as it looks to expand the company’s penetration into OEM, dealer, and rental and leasing markets in the U.K. The new services will deliver compelling features for end-users and drive sell-through, creating long-term value for channel partners.
Rose’s move to Tracker will help bolster the business’s enviable history, brand and reputation within the marketplace with his proven record of deal-making, closing multi-million pound contracts with large multinationals and driving growth through sustainable partner programmes.
Tracker’s recent partnership engagements include Arnold Clark, Europe’s largest independently owned car retailer and Oxford Products, a leading global supplier of motorcycle and bicycle aftermarket products, whose customers value Tracker’s reliable and high-quality services. They join Tracker’s portfolio of long-standing but continually evolving partnerships, including Bailey of Bristol, one of U.K.’s largest manufacturer of leisure vehicles, as well as the National Farmers Union (NFU).
