Let's get your device set up and registered

IMPORTANT

Please register and activate your device immediately. An unregistered device may lead to the cancellation of your motor insurance policy.

Step 1

Set Up Preparation:

  •  Make sure you have your vehicle registration to hand
  •  Before you start, write down the device IMEI number, this is the long 15 digit number which can be found on your device.

Step 2

Turn On Device:

  • The device needs direct line of sight to the sky to ensure it can pick up a GPS signal, for this reason you need to be outside when turning your device on. This is important for the set up procedure.
  • Turning the device on: use a pin (not supplied), to gently slide the toggle switch toward the outer edge of the device as show in the diagram, this will power up the device.

Step 3

Connect The Device:

  •  Once the device has powered up a red LED light will begin to flash (Please see diagram).
  •  Once a GSM signal has been established the light will stop flashing, and you should see a solid red light.
  •  The light will turn off after 30 seconds.

Troubleshooting: If the LED light does not turn solid red after a few minutes, then please toggle the swich off and wait for 2 minutes before repeating the above process. Please ensure you move to an area with good phone coverage before repeating the process.

If the problem persists please contact Tracker's Technical team on: 0808 5090909
