TRACKER Donates Foam Vehicles
Date: 30 September 2014
Young children who attend the Conwy & Denbighshire National Autistic Society Internet Café had a welcome surprise when a box of toy vehicles arrived at the café courtesy of stolen vehicle recovery expert, TRACKER. Many of the children who visit the café have additional learning needs and require extra support to develop their coordination skills.
The mixture of foam vehicles created a lot of excitement with the children - particularly the police cars. They were perfect for helping the children practice catching, as well as enjoy some general fun playing with the vehicles.
Simon Humphreys, Chair, Conwy & Denbighshire NAS said “It is simple gestures like TRACKER donating these toys that make a difference to a community. The majority of the toys went home with about 14 of the children; I have even been told a few have taken them to bed at night.”
Adrian Davenport, police liaison officer for TRACKER, comments “We were asked by the North Wales Police Superintendent if we could provide some of our TRACKER branded foam vehicles to the café, as they are very popular with the police forces we work with as they like to collect them. We were of course happy to oblige and help out such a noble cause.”
