Tantalum presents its fleet and fuel functionality
Date: 07 September 2016
September 2016- As fuel costs and emissions continue to put companies and consumers under increasing pressure, Tantalum Corporation, one of Europe’s top ‘connected vehicle’ companies, has partnered with Samsung Electronics and showcases its fleet and fuel functionality at the IFA Show 2016.
This is an effective solution that allows fleet managers and drivers to analyse their vehicle information by interrogating the vehicle Controller Area Network (CAN Bus) in real time. Vehicle owners can monitor their fuel usage, emission as well as other vehicle analytics and driving intelligence to ensure it is being used efficiently.
Attending the IFA Show with Samsung Electronics, Tantalum Corporation explain and demonstrate the benefits of the solution and how consumers and businesses can combat fuel cost, emission monitoring, provide duty of care for their drivers and truly connect with their vehicle.
“Fuel is the largest single cost in running a vehicle fleet (rental, leasing, shared car schemes), and it is vital that its usage is monitored closely. Tantalum’s unique fuel wastage model gives business managers the insight to understand exactly where fuel has been wasted, per driver, per vehicle, per journey in real-time” explains Cédriane de Boucaud, CEO of Tantalum Corporation.
“It meets the growing need for CAN data based vehicle management solutions, which can provide a richer data set around fuel usage and wastage. Emissions, driver performance, vehicle health and maintenance can also be monitored, enabling drivers to manage their vehicle more effectively, efficiently and proactively.”
“By using real-time data insight, vehicle owners and drivers can tackle fuel costs head on,” concludes Cédriane de Boucaud. “The IFA show has been a great way for Tantalum and Samsung to illustrate the benefits of the solution, and discover other product innovations in the market.”
The IFA show in Berlin runs from 2nd
September 2016 to 7th
