Drivers are most satisfied with Volkswagen's Up hatchback, a new survey by What Car? and JD Power reveals.
According to rac.co.uk, the Up came top out of 109 different vehicles for customer satisfaction. It isn't the only Volkswagen car to star in the top ten though, as the German manufacturer's vehicles took six of the places. The Golf Plus came in second place and Skoda's Yeti, which is part of the Volkswagen group, took third.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class placed fourth and the VW Scirocco and VW Tiguan came fifth and sixth place respectively.
To rank the cars based on customer satisfaction, owners were asked about the running cost, dealer service quality and the vehicle's overall appeal. When just the manufacturers were measured instead of individual models, Jaguar and Lexus drew for the top spot; whereas Volkswagen came fifth.
What Car? editor, Jim Holder, congratulates Volkswagen on its impressive performance in the customer satisfaction survey.
"It is clearly building cars that have showroom appeal and, even more importantly, deliver in real life," he says, reports sky.com. "Cars that perform in customer satisfaction surveys are a great recommendation for car buyers and act as a great barometer to a car's quality."
The three worst performing cars are the Chevrolet Spark, Alfa Romeo Mito and Citroen C3.
