Owners of a Skoda vehicle will be pleased to hear that their car has topped the list of the best cars to own in 2014, according to a recent autoexpress.co.uk survey.
Three Skoda models managed to come out on top with the Yeti Mkl, Citigo Mkl and the Superb Mkll taking to top three spaces.
The survey was undertaken by more than 50,000 car owners, who were all asked questions about the vehicles they owned with regards to reliability and overall satisfaction.
This is the third year in a row that the Skoda Yeti has claimed the number one position in the survey and the car is yet to finish outside the top two.
Steve Fowler, the editor in chief of Auto Express, told telegraph.co.uk that the car market is on the rise with over two years of growth and car registrations having risen three per cent. The survey shows that the British motorists are far happier with their vehicles as the scores of this year's survey are far higher than previous years.
Mr Fowler said: "Skoda has done a brilliant job of building cars that people love. It entered the crossover class with the Yeti in 2009 and it proved an instant hit. The car's appeal hasn't waned, and the company kept its latest update very simple."
