Two new editions of the Mazda2, the Colour Edition and the Sport Colour Edition, have been officially launched into the UK market.
Only 1,000 models of each will be available. According to recombu.com, Mazda fans will even have the pride of knowing which model out of the 1,000 they own, as a sticker on the dashboard will inform them. Owners won't just be paying for the fact that the car is limited, though - the new models also come with 11 bits of new equipment.
The Colour Edition (which costs £11,745) includes a leather steering wheel with remote audio controls, a Parrot Bluetooth hands-free kit, privacy glass, 15-inch alloys wheels and a colour-coded interior.
Coming in at a slightly pricier £12,845, the Sport Colour Edition has a more powerful engine. It offers features such as front fog lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 6.1-inch Mazda navigation system with Bluetooth, a leather gear knob, two extra speakers and a trip computer.
Mazda UK sales director, Peter Allibon, is confident that the new models will prove very popular with customers. Moreover, Mazda has described the cars as "the supermini that will turn heads, combining colour and sporting flair", reports rac.co.uk.
Those interested in picking themselves up a Colour Edition have three colours to choose from: True Red, Crystal White and Aluminium Silver.
